“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”” Isaiah 6:8
When we were children we often raised our hands to get picked to either participate on a team or answer a question. We wanted to participate. We wanted to be a part of something. Often times we are comfortable signing up or stepping into something we are familiar with or can predict the outcome. God does not always provide us details to what we are signing up for. He directs us, always with us, on a path that requires us to rely on Him. These time offer us an opportunity to press in deeper with God, deepening our relationship with Him and trusting Him more. God is looking for us to willingly raise our hand to follow what He has for us no matter if we know the path or not.
“Yet when you relied on the Lord, he delivered them into your hand. For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.” 2 Chronicles 8b-9a
