Christ Centered Family is an IRS section 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that places Jesus Christ as the center of its ministry and acknowledges that only with God’s grace and mercy true life change happens. Christ Centered Family provides a safe atmosphere where Spiritual Gifts are practiced. The focus of Christ Centered Family is to point men and women to Christ as the center of their lives to take on the role to which God has called them.
In May of 2012 three of the founders were brought together through Divine intervention and discussed how their lives have been affected by broken and dysfunctional families. Over the months that followed these three individuals met together and gained a better understanding that their situations had a common theme: the need for a Christ centered man at the head of the family. Out of this a vision was cast to educate men to take the active role as leader of the family.
America has an increasing number of male children growing up without a father role model in their life leaving these boys without an understanding of what it is to be a real man. Most of these boys grow up to adults and still do not understand what it is to be a man. Thus, in September 2013 Christ Centered Family was incorporated to teach men, young and old, about wholesome family and walk along side them during their life. Simply put, we believe a Christ centered family begins with a Christ centered man.
“The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace- loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.” (Gen. 2:15, James 3:17, Ecc. 12:13 NIV)
To live our lives dependant on God; drawing others to do the same.
